Tim is a 1996 Physical Therapy graduate of the University of Oklahoma and returned to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The Evidence in Motion Institute of Health Professions in 2016. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Oklahoma Christian University in 1994. Tim has previously practiced as a staff Physical Therapist at East Texas Medical Center and as Director of Rehabilitation at Smithville Regional Hospital. He is board certified as an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). In 2001, with the aid of Connie Wallace and Scott Riley, Tim established Garner & Riley Physical Therapy with a mission of providing an incomparable level of service that Bastrop County deserves. Tim provides the service of Trigger Point Dry Needling to the patients at Garner & Riley Physical Therapy in addition to his general orthopedics experience. Tim has previously served as a board member of the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce and President of the Smithville Lions Club, as well as a supporter of local athletics and charities for community service. Tim spends his spare time hunting, fishing, running, following the Oklahoma Sooners, and enjoying quality time with his wife Nichole, daughter Anna Lee, and son Luke Stephen.

Scott is a 1999 graduate of Ithaca College's Physical Therapy program in Ithaca, New York. After graduating, he moved to central Texas and began working at Smithville Regional Hospital in inpatient and outpatient centers. Soon after, he became a co-founder of Garner & Riley Physical Therapy in 2001. His professional education focus has been in sports and general orthopedics, focusing coursework on functional rehabilitation and manual therapy. Throughout his career, he has earned certifications as a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He has been involved with many local community service organizations and enjoys assisting with charitable causes benefiting schools. Scott is a big Longhorns fan and enjoys rooting for the NY Yankees, and always appreciates a courtesy note when his teams win! He and his wife Kim live in Austin and have two wonderful college-aged children, daughter Erin and son Jack, as well as their beloved dog, Saint.

Connie is one of the founders of Garner & Riley Physical Therapy, and continues to be our driving force for maintaining professionalism and individual interaction with each patient. Connie is the Office and Business Manager. Connie was previously employed as an Accounts Payable Manager and eventually the CFO of a local rural hospital. She has a wide variety of experience ranging from marketing, healthcare, and self-employment that allows her to work so effectively with our patients. Connie enjoys spending time gardening, scrapbooking, and "hanging out" with her grandchildren. She loves when Tim & Scott talk sports.

Darless began working as a physical therapy technician with Garner & Riley Physical Therapy in 2003, and went on to earn her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She has been a tremendous asset to our clinic as a provider and staff leader. Patients love to work with her because "she's always smiling" and "isn't so much into torturing us." She has progressed through office administration, clinic technician, and now as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Darless is dedication personified. Crystal is originally from Durango, Colorado, but relocated to central Texas in 2004, graduating from Bastrop High School in 2007. Crystal enjoys outdoor activities, including fishing and hiking, and can typically be spotted at the clinic with a smile on her face, organizing and "picking up" after the rest of us. She lives locally in Paige with her husband John and sons, Wade and Myles.

Michelle joined the Garner & Riley Physical Therapy crew in 2015. She is originally from Springfield, Illinois, and attended Illinois Central College graduating with an Associate in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Michelle enjoys working with a wide variety of patients and enjoys to see each patient progress toward their goals. Michelle and her family moved to Bastrop in 2013. She enjoys the outdoors, running, and bike riding with her husband Allen and their daughter Allyssa. She is a big Chicago Cubs fan and is so happy that the Curse of the Billy Goat is a distant memory.

Peter is a 2018 graduate of Austin Community College's Physical Therapist Assistant program. Originally from Brownsville, TX, Peter moved to Austin in 2011 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from THE University of Texas at Austin in 2015. Joining the Garner & Riley team as a new graduate, Peter is always excited to guide patients on their road to recovery. In his spare time, he loves following his two favorite teams, the San Antonio Spurs and the Texas Longhorns, trying new restaurants, hiking with his dog Jack, and spending time with his family.

She grew up in Lockhart, TX before traveling to California after marrying her high school sweetheart who served in the United States Marine Corps. After her husband was honorably discharged from his service, her family returned home to Texas and they now live locally in Bastrop with their son, daughter, and two German Shepherds. Mackenzie is goal oriented, driven toward success, and dedicated to delivering quality care to her patients. When she is not at work, she enjoys being a photographer and spending quality time with her friends and family.

Lisa joined our staff in 2015. She is the first and last face you will see on your visit with us, as well as one of the friendly voices reminding you of your appointments. We are extremely lucky to have Lisa with us, as she helps in every aspect of keeping us all in line.
