Tim Garner, PT, DPT, OCS

Tim is a 1996 Physical Therapy graduate of the University of oklahoma and returned to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from The Evidence in Motion Institue of Health Professions in 2016. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at Oklahoma Christian University in 1994. Tim has previously practiced as a staff Physical Therapist at East Texas Medical Center and as Director of Rehabilitation at Smithville Regional Hospital. He is board certified as a Clinical Orthopedic Specialist. In 2001, with the aid of Connie Wallace and Scott Riley, Tim established Garner & Riley Physical Therapy with a mission of providing an incomparable level of service that Bastrop County deserves. Tim provides the service of Trigger Point Dry Needling to the patients at Garner & Riley Physical Therapy iin addition to his general orthopedics experience. Tim has previously served as a board member of the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce and President of the Smithville Lions Club, as well as a supporter of local athletics and charities for community service. Tim spends his spare time hunting, fishing, running, following the Oklahoma Sooners, and enjoying quality time with his wife Nichole, daughter Anna Lee, and son Luke Stephen. 

Scott Riley, PT, MS, OCS

Scott is a 1999 graduate of Ithaca College's Physical Therapy program in Ithaca, New York. He transplanted to central Texas and after working at Smithville Regional Hospital in inpatient and outpatient centers, he became a co-founder of Garner & Riley Physical Therapy. His professional education focus has been in general orthopedics, focusing coursework on functional rehabilitation and manual therapy.  He is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist and has held certifications as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist.  He has been involved with many local community service organizations and enjoys assisting with charitable causes benefiting schools. Scott is a big NY Yankees and Longhorns fan, and always appreciates a courtesy note when his teams win! He and his wife Kim live in Austin with their children, daughter Erin and son Jack, and their dog, Saint. 

Connie Wallace

Connie is one of the founders of Garner & Riley Physical Therapy, and continues to be our driving force for maintaining professionalism and individual interaction with each patient. Connie is the Office and Business Manager. Connie was previously employed as an Accounts Payable Manager and eventually the CFO of a local rural hospital. She has a wide variety of experience ranging from marketing, healthcare, and self-employment that allows her to work so effectively with our patients. Connie enjoys spending time gardening, scrapbooking, and "hanging out" with her grandchildren.  She loves when Tim & Scott talk sports.

Kyle Gerber, PT, DPT

Kyle is a 2014 Doctor of Physical Therapy graduate from the University of Connecticut.  He completed his undergraduate degree in human biology at Michigan State University in 2011. He is originally from Connecticut with family from Michgan; however after doing his final internship with Garner & Riley Physical Therapy, he moved to Austin permanently. Kyle enjoys working with athletes of all ages to maximize their recovery and achieve their rehab goals. Kyle is happily married to his wife, Caitlin and is enjoying his time as a new dad with his newborn daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys home improvement hobbies and is an avid Michigan State Spartans fan. Go Sparty! 

Heather Fiebrich, PT, DPT

Heather is a 2012 Doctorate of Physical Therapy graduate from Angelo State University, where she also received her Bachelors of Science degree in 2009. Heather previously attended high school as a Bastrop Bear (2005), and returned here to serve her local community. She has a variety of experiences in the art of Physical Therapy, but has a deep conviction for treating patients with neurologic conditions. We have been so happy to have Heather rejoin our team in 2019, as she originally worked at the clinic as a technician when she was in high school.  She was a heck of a rodeo girl at one time... now she and her husband, Richard, spend the majority of their time trying to corral their daughter, Cheyenne. Heather is always smiling, and loves to hunt and fish with her family.

Justin Thai, PT, DPT

Justin is a 2018 Doctorate of Physical Therapy graduate from University of St. Augustine and a 2013 Bachelors degree graduate from Texas State University. He is Brenham-born, and a Blue Bell Ice Cream raised Texan. He is self-described as a man of many interests, creating a "knowledge base as wide as an ocean but an inch deep." His appetite for knowledge is only dwarfed by his actual appetite as he is an avid foodie.  He can also be found frequently in his natural habitat, the gym. He has a love for all things active and is willing to participate in almost anything related to a physical event... that is... anything except running!  He is a candidate to be the next "most interesting man in the world."

Darless Majeski, PTA

Darless is a 2008 graduate of the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Austin Community College and attended high school locally at Bastrop High School. Darless began working as a physical therapy technician with Garner & Riley Physical Therapy in 2003, and went on to earn her degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She has been a tremendous asset to our clinic as a provider and leader. Patients love to work with her since "she's always smiling," and "isn't so much into torturing us."  She has progressed through office administration, clinic technician, and now as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Darless is dedication personified. She lives locally in Bastrop with her husband, Kassidy, and two sons, Kaber and Kemper. Darless's biography has been brought to you by the letter K. 

Crystal Herring, PTA

Crystal is a 2013 graduate of Austin Community College's Physical Therapy Assistant Program. She has previously worked at Garner & Riley Physical Therapy as a technician after high school beginning in 2008 before attending college. Crystal is originally from Durango, Colorado, but relocated to central Texas in 2004, graduating from Bastrop High School in 2007.  Crystal enjoys outdoor activities, including fishing and hiking, and can typically be spotted at the clinic with a smile on her face, organizing and "picking up" after the rest of us.  She lives locally in Paige with her husband John and son Wade.

​Michelle joined the Garner & Riley Physical Therapy crew in 2015. She is originally from Springfield, Illinois, and attended Illinois Central College graduating with an Associate in Applied Science as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Michelle enjoys working with a wide variety of patients and enjoys to see each patient progress toward their goals.  Michelle and her family moved to Bastrop in 2013. She enjoys the outdoors and bike riding with her husband Allen and their daughter Allyssa.  She is a big Chicago Cubs fan and is so happy that the Curse of the Billy Goat is a distant memory.

Pedro Guerrero, Jr, PTA

Peter is a 2018 graduate of Austin Community College's Physical Therapist Assistant program. Originally from Brownsille, TX, Peter moved to Austin in 2011 and received a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from THE University of Texas at Austin in 2015. Joining the Garner & Riley team as a new graduate, Peter is excited to guid patients on their road to recovery. In his spare time, he loves following his two favorite teams, the San Antonio Spurs and the Texas Longhorns, trying new restaurants, and hiking with his dog Jack. 

Mackenzie Atwell, PTA

oMackenzie is a 2019 graduate of Austin Community College's Physical Therapist Assistant Program.  She grew up in Lockhart, TX before traveling to California after marrying her high school sweetheart whe served in the United States Marine Corps.  After her husband was honorably discharged from his service, her family returned home to Texas and they now live locally in Bastrop with their son and two German Shepherds.  Mackenzie is goal oriented, driven toward success, and dedicated to delivering quality care to her patients. When she is not at work, she enjoys being a photographer and spending quality time with her friends and family.

Alaina Dawson

Alaina is a 2008 graduate of Smithville High School. She has been an employee at Garner & Riley since the dawn of time. She attended classes at Blinn College, ACC, and Texas A&M University.  She is our Wild Card employee that is able to jump in to any task, answer any question about office or clinical procedures, and help out in any way. Alaina also claims to be a Ninja Assassin.

Carolyn Hammons

Carolyn joined the G&R team in 2002 as a receptionist and has become our expert on insurance billiing over the years. If you have any questions about your insurance coverage and benefits, she is the one to ask.  She enjoys her quality time with her ever-increasing gaggle of grandchildren and can always be spotted with a smile on her face.
